This project was inspired by the atmosphere of Italian summer markets, filled with vibrant fresh fruit, patterned ceramics, and colourful market stalls. I explored surface pattern design through playful fruit illustrations and bold checkerboard repeats, using colours inspired by fruits as the leading colours throughout the collection.
Through screen printing and experimental pattern development, I aimed to create a lively and uplifting collection designed for interiors and homeware, capturing the warmth, colour, and relaxed feeling of an Italian summer.
